West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Purwanti mentioned, retention basin construction work was started on October 6, 2020.
"This retention basin covers area of 2,235 square meters with depth about 2.6 meters," she conveyed, Friday (8/6).

"It has capacity up to 7,230 cubic meters of water. Hopefully it can prevent inundation that often occurs in the area," she asserted.
After completing it, she continued, local residents can also utilize public facilities at Lokbin Tegal Alur Public Housing's Retention Basin.
"We will build parka and jogging track. Local residents can use those facilities for exercising and refreshing," she said.
